Globalsoft India gearing up to welcome New Grads from Bangalore Institute of Technology to the Team

  • Globalsoft organized its annual campus recruitment drive at BIT in Bangalore
  • Candidates went through multiple levels of skill and competency tests to determine eligibility for the role
  • 6 MCA students were shortlisted for a final interview at Globalsoft India

Building on the success of last few years, Globalsoft hosted its annual Campus Drive to recruit fresh talent to join its growing family. The event was held at Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) on August 21, 2019.

Narayan Pahwa, Director of Human Resources at Globalsoft Frameworx, led the drive and introduced the company to the candidates, it’s structure, work culture, as well as how being a part of it can immensely benefit an individual in the industry. Speaking of how BIT’s young talent adds value to Globalsoft, Pahwa added “In recent years we have recruited at this campus and witnessed that students here are quite prepared for Tech Market. They bring in their new perspective and zeal to our work environment and with just a little push deliver great results.”

The hiring process was a series of comprehensive exercises to establish a candidate’s eligibility for the role.

    • Written Test, to assess the General Aptitude and basic Technical knowledge which is key skill-set to work in Data Technology domain
    • Group Discussion, where candidates argued if India is prepared and has the expertise to combat Cyber-attacks, which in 2019 has become a significant threat. This helped our recruiters understand their problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Technical Interview, a one-on-one panel where a candidate’s core technical and functional competencies were tested
    • HR Interview, to identify candidates whose life skills and work ethics align with Globalsoft culture.

After this detailed assessment 6 students from BIT’s Master of Computer Application Program were shortlisted for a final face to face interview with a Senior Technical Member of the team and the Reporting Manager.

Ravichethan, an ex-grad of BIT and a current Globalsoft team member, exclaimed how working at Globalsoft has been a great learning experience, “There are so many good opportunities for Fresher’s to explore the IT world and dig deep to learn new technologies. This place gave me an opportunity to work on different aspects of Software Development.”
