Globalsoft, Inc. and its employees have come together to support PM-CARES fund and charities helping fight the COVID-19 pandemic

San Jose, CA – Globalsoft, Inc. on Monday announced that it has raised money for various relief activities across the country to help fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Globalsoft, which has operations in Bangalore, contributed towards India’s PM-CARES Fund, set-up to cater to the health and economic setback caused by the global crisis. Globalsoft further extended its contributions by donating under their Employer Matching program, which involves one-to-one matching of donations made by its employees to other charities in order to collectively tackle various COVID-19 issues.

On March 28, following the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the constitution of the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES) Fund. The Fund is directed to be used for combating, and containment and relief efforts against the coronavirus outbreak and similar pandemic like situations in the future.

To further the efforts to help support the communities that are impacted by COVID-19, Globalsoft launched the Employer Matching program for contributions made by its employees. Under this program, Globalsoft matches all employee donations and gives the total accumulated fund to the charities.
